Thanks for that link. Much useful information. We are all interested in the possibility of getting research money from the Package, but we also need to get ready for the reporting that will be required. This is in addition to FFATA or instead of, I am sure no one will figure out how to combine the two? Look here Section 2.9 What reporting will be collected from recipients of Federal funding for reporting on Recovery.gov? "Prime recipients. Reporting requirements only apply to the prime non- Federal recipients of Federal funding, and the subawards (i.e., subgrants, subcontracts, etc.) made by these prime recipients. Anyone know anything about it? For that matter, what have you all been hearing about the impact of the stimulus package? RE: Stimulus package/NSF Major Research Instrumentation (MRI) Based on current information, the National Science Foundation (NSF) is planning to spend an additional $300 million dollars on major research instrumentation through The American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA). The annual submission date for the MRI program was 1/22/09 and three limited submission proposals were submitted by KU investigators at that time. At this point we do not know whether NSF will “lower the bar” on proposals already submitted or also consider new proposals. Until further notice, we will assume that new proposals will be considered.
