What would you tell a PI that has already received 2 no-cost extensions
on their grant that ends Dec 31st and still leaves 1/3 of it not spent,
but thinks they should be able to requisition everything this week, when
the university will be closed until Jan. 5th and the items will not
arrive until much later than that?  I thought this might provide me with
some good/funny pre-holiday comments.
