We would appreciate seeing some examples of financial management
templates/spreadsheets which provide for accurate 'award year-to-date'
balances, variances, etc.  so that we may possibly develop simpler
and/or more useful reports to help our grant administrators and PIs
manage their budgets.

Templates which require either manual data entry based on chart of
accounts data or are generated electronically by same are appreciated.
Our financial system generates 'grant-inception-to-date' and 'fiscal
year-to-date' reports which require manual massaging to create our
'award year-to-date' reports, which we're seeking better examples of.

Any template examples you can provide would be appreciated greatly.
