Re: NSF Salary Limitation

Hmmm, for regular faculty, I think of it as an academic year plus the
following summer. Does it matter as long as you are consistent within your
institution and as long as you don't exceed the 2 mos. in any 12-month
period??

Someone can correct me if I'm wrong, but I always thought of it in
calendar year terms.

Subject: [RESADM-L] NSF Salary Limitation
The NSF salary limitation language states: "As a general policy, NSF
limits salary compensation for senior project personnel to no more than
two months of their regular salary in any one year. This limit includes
salary compensation received from all NSF-funded grants."
How do you define "year?" I could not find where NSF defined it.
