Instructions from the G.G. Helpdesk:  Turn off pop-up blocker and delete
browser history (temporary internet files, cookies, and visited website
history)--all from the Tools menu in IE.  They also had me move the proposal
file out of a directory and onto my desktop before opening to
submit--although I don't see that that should make a difference.  I was also
told that if confirmation of submission is not received in about 15-20
minutes, it probably means there's a problem and to try again.

The help desk walked me through some computer settings for IE and a
different way to submit and it went right through this time.  Three cheers

Hi Barbara,

This happened to me on Thursday, and I never received the first email
confirmation. Luckily, I could also email the proposal to the sponsor, which
I did. I still have not received confirmation - which I assume it never went
through. I would try to resubmit.
