Linda,

This may depend a little on what operating system you are using, but Grants.gov has posted some useful information on their website to address this question.  You can find it at http://www.grants.gov/help/trouble_tips.jsp#14.

You may also want to check with your local IT support and they should be able to help you set this up correctly, but give the instructions the grants.gov people have posted a try and see if that resolves your issue

Hi All, I have the correct version of Adobe Reader (8.1.2) to download
applications from Grants.gov.  My problem is that I also have Adobe
Acrobat 7.0 Professional on my computer.  When I try to open a package
from grants.gov it automatically finds the Adobe Acrobat 7.0 instead of
Adobe Reader 8.1.2.  How can I get my grants.gov package to open in
Reader 8.1.2 instead of Acrobat 7.0?  Thanks, LB
