Regarding the Adobe compatibility issue with g.g.

I know 8.1.x is the minimum compatible version to open and work with the
Grants.gov package. But can anyone tell me if the same is true for the
attachments to be uploaded in the package? I'm likely to receive PDFs from a
variety of sources, do I need to confirm that these have all been "created"
using no lower than version 8.1.x ? Or is the compatibility strictly an issue for
creating and saving the Grants.gov package?
