With significant professional discretion and judgment, this person will be responsiblefor providing leadership and high quality service to faculty, administrators and sponsors in managing the compliance aspects of their sponsored programs. Work will include the development, implementation, and management of research compliance activities related to human and animal research. Essential duties and responsibilities include oversight of the Human Subjects Committee, the Animal Use and Care Committee and Facility, as well as Export Controls, Financial Conflict of Interest, Biosafety, Radiation Safety, and Laboratory Safety, supervision of senior administrative assistant and other duties and projects as assigned. Knowledge of research compliance regulations. Demonstrated ability to create and present workshop materials effectively. Demonstrated expertise with word processing, database management, and spreadsheets (MS Word, Excel and Access software). Strong organizational skills with ability to handle multiple tasks, work independently and be detail-oriented. Demonstrated ability to complete projects from inception to implementation.
