Position: Grants Manager
Start Date: ASAP
Duties: Serves as central point of information for university sponsored
program activities and manages the administration of all sponsored program
services, including, but not limited to: facilitating acceptance of sponsored
program awards and monitoring compliance with sponsored program reporting
requirements. Interacts professionally with all internal and external customers
using strong interpersonal skills.
Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree with at least five years of
progressively responsible administrative experience to include two years
experience with grants or sponsored programs and grant budget
administration. Must demonstrate excellent written and oral communication
skills and possess well-developed interpersonal skills. Must be detail-oriented,
highly organized and able to work well under deadlines. Demonstrated
proficiency with Microsoft Office suite. Must be able to operate effectively in
fast-paced, multi-task and highly service-oriented environment.
Preferred Qualifications: Grants administration experience in a university
setting. Familiar with CSU or higher education policies and procedures relative
to fiscal controls and operations, including accounting structures and systems,
grants administration, and general administration. Certified Research
Administrator (CRA).
