I received a helpful e-mail off-list that provided the solution to our problem.
On the SF424 R&R Section #15, we changed the PI MIDDLE NAME to EXACTLY
match what was submitted in the previous round's Pure Edge file (the proposal
that is being revised/resubmitted). In our case, this meant adding a period to
the middle initial. As ridiculous as it may sound, this eliminated the warning.
