Department of Education would be a good place to start. They provide
awards, such as the McNair Program, that focus on assisting students through
their first years of college. DOE also awards others that are very similar
in nature and actually work in coordination with the McNair grant.
Hope this helps!

Morning Everyone,
Does anyone know of any funding sources that would support retention
(retaining of students), First and/or Second Year Advisement of
students, or the advisement of undecided students? Examples would be
programs to get students back on their feet, programs that provide peer
and/or faculty advisors to help students who are experiencing academic
difficulties, and programs that allow students to get connected to the
University as quickly as possible.
Any leads would be appreciated. Thank you so much for your help.
