New York University’s Office of Sponsored Programs (OSP) is seeking an
Associate Director for Research Administration Training and
Institutional Liaison. OSP serves as the central pre-award office for
the Washington Square campus of New York University.
This position will be responsible for:
• Research Administration Education and Training campus-wide
• Development of a Certification program for departmental and school
research administrators
• Liaison to school and departmental administrators
• Liaison Between Pre- and Post-award offices

Our ideal candidate will have scintillating presentation and
communication skills, the ability to work independently and give
forthright (but diplomatic) feedback, excellent organizational and
critical thinking skills and a customer service orientation. A New York
accent or ability to understand same and a good sense of humor are also
a plus. In short: we need a really effective, somewhat senior,
quintessential research administrator.

A Bachelor’s degree is required with post-baccalaureate work preferred.
