I'm very leery about research administration trainings and "certifications" from random organizations.  Our office received a flyer from Research Associates-The Grant Experts advertising training sessions that certify you upon completion.  They are based out of Columbia, SC, and their website is www.grantexperts.com.  I honestly feel that the CRA is the only reputable certification for our field currently offered, but I was wondering if anyone out there has completed a training/certification through this company.  I think it's important to know who's reputable in our field and who is not when it comes to certifications, because it's so easy to waste hundreds or thousands of dollars on unrecognized education and/or certification.
