Re: NIH Policy re: Mandatory posting of publications
Deborah A Hampstead/AGDEANS/VET/UTIA 04 Feb 2008 15:27 EST
I sent all 7 of my NIH funded faculty a memo with the Notice attached. My
understanding is that many of the Journals automatically upload the
publications into PubMed and they have changed their copyright notice to
include the NIH mandate. I don't think I have any responsibility for this.

All, with the new mandatory policy instituted by NIH which can be found at:
http://grants.nih.gov/grants/guide/notice-files/NOT-OD-08-033.html
What role, if any are the Sponsored Research Offices on your campus playing
in enforcing this policy or in providing a mechanism by which Faculty can
comply with this requirement. Thanks, Greg T. FSU
