For Kathryn & Regina, Our record tracking is set up (if that's what you want to call it) in PeopleSoft, and we use COS and the Grants Resource Center for funding searches. I'm not sure that we would even want to tie our funding searches into PeopleSoft, since PeopleSoft issues take up a truly inordinate amount of our staff time already. For support with funding opps, I'd recommend GRC (see http://www.aascu.org/grc/). They have an online database that's geared to FOs of interest to IHLs, and each member institution is assigned a staff member to help with searches and technical problems, etc. Plus, each staffer specializes in several of the major agencies. We love 'em - they're more like friends than techies. We also do a monthly online (campus-wide) research/funding newsletter, and most of the funding info comes preassembled from GRC. They also send out regular email bulletins and weekly newsletters that are a great help, too. Gee, maybe they'll pay me for this commercial... ;~) Syd ___________________________________ J. Bartosik" <xxxxxx@HEALTHRESEARCH.ORG> Subject: Automated Effort Reporting Systems We are a not-for-profit and follow A-122. One of our institutes is implementing a Time and Attendance system from API Software. We hope to use this system for our Effort Reporting as well. We want employees to sign their time sheet and attest to their effort at the same time. Is there anyone with experience with integrating an electronic Time/Attendance system with Effort Reporting? Is it even possible? Thanks for any help or suggestions. -Paul Paul Bartosik Director of Information Systems Health Research Incorporated xxxxxx@healthresearch.org (518) 431-1228 IMPORTANT NOTICE: This e-mail and any attachments may contain confidential or sensitive information which is, or may be, legally privileged or otherwise protected by law from further disclosure.
