Re: Mis-identification of race/ethnicity on NSF grant proposal Gina Betcher 08 Nov 2007 09:29 EST

I don't mean to throw in potentially ANOTHER wrench, but is race a
factor in deciding support on a grant or is NSF simply collecting
data?

Sincerely,

Gina

Has anyone had experience with a PI possibly mis-identifying
his/her
race/ethnicity on the NSF PI/PD info form? Other than notifying
NSF,
what steps were deemed to be appropriate? Any background anyone
might be
able to provide on this issue would be much appreciated.
