Research Agreements Jessica T. Kleinberg 02 Nov 2007 12:27 EST

Happy Friday! I have an issue I hope someone can chime in on. I have a PI
who is interested in doing some sequencing work for a collaborator at
another University. The cost is nominal ($3,000) and there is no
possibility of IP being generated as a result of the work. Our standard
practice is to negotiate a standard Research Agreement with other party,
including terms regarding IP, publication, indemnity, termination, etc.

Is there anyone out there that is doing something different, more
streamlined and less burdensome for all?

Any comments/ideas would be greatly appreciated!
