Dear Friends,

Please forgive me for using this medium, but I'm writing to ask if there
are any RESADM-ers out there who might be able to direct me to either
charitable or teaching medical facilities that might accept a challenge
and not charge for the diagnosis. I have a colleague whose adult son has
been undergoing tests for over a year, without diagnosis of his
condition, and his mother believes she has exhausted the medical
capability of Alaska - but hasn't got the funds to have her son go to
one of the significant treatment centers in the lower 48. He can't work
because of the medical condition, yet he can't go on disability because
the physicians can't figure out what's wrong with him.

Please reply to me directly, if you have knowledge of any teaching
hospital or clinic that might be able to help her.
