Re: Stress remediation Dewey, Robin 26 Jul 2007 09:30 EST

Slightly modifying Cynthia's idea to five-line stanzas...

A preaward guru named Fred
Reads FAR every night before bed
As a mild soporific
He finds FAR terrific...
So he uses it as a pillow for his head

As he drifts off to sleep
He is reminded of the Jeep
That his PI purchased with money
For a day when it was sunny
Too bad he's now in deep

The auditors had a field day
When the PI couldn't say
His new wheels were appropriate
The feds had to expropriate
And that's where he is today

Hour after hour of studying
All of these things quite mind-boggling
OMB circulars quite confounding
The rules all so astounding
Just to keep his woes from compounding

Wouldn't that be illegal?
