Re: SF424 Application - Field is yellow and is not mandatory !! Robert Beattie 18 Jul 2007 08:43 EST

Knowing the field would help, but a wild guess is that some data are
entered in another field that then makes the one in question yellow.
For example, if you enter some data about a key person, then many of
the fields in that section become mandatory. If you enter some info
in a budget line, then certain other fields become yellow.

Be sure to clean out all data from all fields in the section where
the yellow field is. If that does not work, I would love to see the
file. Send to me as an attachment. Thanks

I am working on an NIH SF424 application and one field seems to be
locked as yellow. The field is not mandatory but it is yellow. I
think the PI started typing and realized that the data should not be
there and deleted the numbers but the field will not turn back white
again no matter what I do.

Any suggestions?!
Thanks,
