to charge any over expenditures or unallowable costs.

We send a copy of the agreement along with a form the PI(s) are required
to sign stating they agree to the abide by the terms of the award and
and also the University policies relating to externally funded
projects.  They must sign this and return it before we give them their
account number. We have very good response with new awards -- they want
their account number. We don't have this "incentive" for supplemental
awards but still have pretty good response. We just changed our
procedure and are trying to handle this via e-mail.
