Grants and Contracts Manager (Pre-Award)

An exciting opportunity now available with a growing national research firm!
The Geneva Foundation, a non-profit organization dedicated to the
advancement of military medicine, has a challenging position for a Grants &
Contracts Manager at its corporate office in Tacoma, WA. The Grants and
Contracts Manager will primarily be responsible for working with Principal
Investigators (PIs) to identify funding opportunities that match PIs
research interests, and then assisting PIs with the development of research
applications and management of timelines for the production and submission
of proposals to private foundations, the National Institutes of Health and
other government agencies. Other responsibilities include marketing proposal
development services to PIs and PI capabilities to sponsors, maintenance of
web site and databases of PIs' research interests and editing proposals for
clarity.

Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in business or science; experience in the preparation of
research proposals; excellent verbal and written communication skills;
proficiency in word processing applications, database management and
financial spreadsheets; knowledge of OMB Regulations, FAR, and human subject
and animal protection regulations (preferred); previous work experience in a
military healthcare environment (preferred);  self-motivated, organized,
detail-oriented, & able to manage multiple priorities.
