We just received a new NASA grant which includes requirements for PIV (if
contractor requires access to NASA facilities for 6 months or longer) and we
responded to an RFP (as subcontractor) which included FAR 52.204-9 Personal
Identity Verification of Contractor Personnel (November 2006).  In both cases,
we are doing further research before we will accept (a letter of objection was
sent with the RFP proposal.

Has anyone else objected to this FAR clause?
