Hi Bob, Do you guys archive the PDF image even though you can just pull it from Commons? I've heard conflicting things, but don't grant images stay in commons indefinitely? It would be interesting to see how some of the advanced solutions handle this? Are you guys just storing the xml data in a database? Or do you actually keep a image of the final application? Many thanks. This enhancement was on everyone's list. In a few weeks, when that new version is released, we will see what archiving options there are. I would print to a .pdf file to save it. A fully printable/savable version of applications are now available in the HHS Commons. For other agencies, I would suggest that you decide what you need from the PureEdge version, and print those, to .pdf. PureEdge Viewer will be available until October. As you know, NSF FASTLANE (which we all love) gives you back a PDF version of your proposal which we can file. (It also serves as an indication that what NSF received was what you transmitted.) With g.g, since there is no way to get a full copy of the proposal back, what documentation do you maintain of the proposal? We also have some concern about the proposals that have gone out via the PureEdge software. What happens to all of those when PureEdge is phased out later that year and when the software is no longer available?
