Job Description:
The purpose of this position is to develop and manage a grants program
to support the missions of the National Pork Board and the ISU College
of Agriculture with particular support for the U.S. Pork Center of
Excellence. The individual will work with various program leaders in
industry and government to develop a successful grants program including
writing, submissions, evaluation, and reporting.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree and 4 years of experience or a Master's degree and 2
years. Experience must demonstrate familiarity with government programs,
developing a grant program, and successful grant writing.
Preferred Qualifications:
Ph.D and experience in providing expert analysis, evaluation, and
improvement of the scientific programs and their administration.
Training or experience that provides a general understanding of
agriculture.
