A133 audit reconciliation to grant/contract revenues per financial statements Linda Ward 26 Mar 2007 09:25 EST

I have a couple questions regarding audit requirements to reconcile the
Schedule of Federal Expenditures (A133) to Consolidated Financial
Statements Grant/Contract Income account.

I suspect our auditors are auditing for omission of federal
expenditures in the A133 report. I don't know that the reconciliation
indicated above is effective, as it would only work for cost
reimbursable awards, and we have fixed price agreements included in our
A133.

* Is there a new requirement for such a reconciliation?
* How do your auditors audit for omission?

Thank you in advance for your input!
