I echo everything Pam writes and will just add that it is too inflexible
in the field area for our needs, especially as we all are doing more
with industry, etc. Also, it is primarily a post-award financials
system, and even then, our grants accounts have trouble with
inflexibility, especially in the area of collecting and re-allocating
indirect costs when they have to be sliced and diced among several
units.  This gets maddening  as collaborations between  units grows in
response to federal RFPs.
