We are trying to gather information on how or if other similar institutions provide compensation, and how much, to their IRB chairs.

I am interested in hearing from institutions with IRBs that handle approximately 300 primarily social and behavioral protocols per year, particularly whether you provide compensation (reassigned time, stipends, or other) to your committee chairs.  The majority of our protocols are expedited or exempt, with a very few that go for full review.
