I have not seen that message recently, but when I did see it, there was
nothing to be done except start over. The file could not be recovered.
My work-around solution is to ALWAYS rename the file and NEVER
overwrite. That way, if you accidentally corrupt the file, you only
need to retrace a few steps and not reconstruct the entire package. I
have had some quite extensive filenames.

Has anyone seen this particular error (see below) recently? This was
generated on a nearly complete file, and I suspect the cause was the
PureEdge document being saved, overwriting the previous version, but
closed
before the overwrite had been completed. Wasn't sure if that problem
was
still occurring as it hasn't been mentioned recently. Has anyone found
a
way to resurrect these files, or are they lost causes (as I suspect)?
