When I talk to people about applying to NIH via PureEdge and Gg, I make sure they understand that
1) PureEdge forms are adapted to NIH's need but are based on a general federal template; thus there are plenty of fields that will never be used (e.g. pre-application)
2) PHS's SF424 Application Guide is fantastic, essential, and will answer every question...except:
3) The stuff mentioned in the specific FOA Section IV, Part 2 and Part 6 trumps everything in #1-2
and
4) The reason you will not be totally successful doing it all alone just by following #1-3 is the reason you are attending my class.
