Liability Policies Off-Campus
Michael Sirrine 13 Dec 2006 13:55 EST
Our small university is set to grow our undergraduate research programs,
but is concerned that we have adequate policy to protect the university,
faculty and students while engaged in travel and research off-campus. We
would be interested in seeing policy examples from small colleges or
universities that are willing to share.
Areas of special interest:
• sexual harassment, consensual relations and other policy training
requirements for both faculty and student
• travel and lodging arrangements
• university liability for faculty or student behavior during off or
non-work hours
• waivers of liability
