Wright State University in Dayton, Ohio, seeks a full-time Director of
Technology Transfer in its office of Research and Sponsored Programs.
The Director provides a leadership role, both on and off campus, for all
activities regarding all phases of the commercialization of WSU’s

Qualifications: A master's level degree in science, engineering, law,
business or related field is required. Minimum 5 years business or
management experience, including at least 3 years experience with
intellectual property commercialization. Excellent negotiation and
marketing skills. Excellent interpersonal skills, analytical skills,
oral and written communication skills, and proven ability to attend to
detail and to work independently.
Preferred: Experience in a university or non-profit technology transfer
office. Familiarity with Ohio-based economic development agencies,
sponsored research agreements, and biological material transfer agreements.
