Re: NIH AREA and Grants.Gov

Greetings,
The project summary on the Research and Related form is what used to be
the abstract/summary on form page 2 of the 398. The narrative is a one-
to three-sentence statement of public health relevance.

Maybe it's just the Friday-itis creeping in, but I'm having issues with
grants.gov forms for an upcoming NIH AREA. The PHS 398 Research Plan
Form makes it clear that we need to upload each section of the project
description separately. No problem. Another required form, the Research
and Related Other Project Information Form has two required fields,
highlighted in bright yellow, for the project summary and narrative to
be uploaded. Isn't the narrative the same as the Research Plan? Or do I
have to go find the *$(# instructions again?
