Subject: [RESADM-L] Suggestion RE: Responding to Messages
Greetings:
I'm quite grateful to have located and to be on this list. This is a great networking tool which reassures me that I'm not the only one with questions and concerns. As well, I appreciate the discussion, answers and further questions. Surely also I'm not the only one with a to-do list - with fast approaching due dates - that is longer than the NYT Best Sellers combined list.
Consequently, I have a small request regarding how we use this tool. With the understanding that other e-mail systems are probably as quirky as ours (slow sometimes, but quick at others), I suggest some e-mail protocol. Simply, regarding responding to messages:
1. Always "reply with message."
2. Wait a bit before pressing "send," both to pause before responding and, if not the first to respond, add on to an already established list of responses.
Hopefully this will minimize the number of e-mails being distributed and maximize the continuity of content and communal discussion.
Thanks for your consideration,
Dana
