DRI has a very simple solution. On an individual's last day, our HR
department sends an email institute wide that says "Person's last day is
today, (date). Please notify of any outstanding items. Thanks." No one
has a problem with this. Everyone stays up to date on who's coming and
going, well-wishers are reminded of their last chance, and business gets
taken care of.
