Wright State University in Dayton, Ohio, seeks a full-time Assistant
Director for Post-Award Services in its office of Research and Sponsored
Programs. Responsibilities include initiating and administering all
subcontracts negotiated on grants/contracts; routinely analyzing
financial status of active awards and monitoring the allowability of
charges; maintaining required cost-share documentation for financial
reporting and audit process; monitoring F&A costs to ensure adherence to
sponsor regulations and university policy; preparing reports for
sponsors; assisting in the close-out of awards; assisting with other
post-award administrative issues; supervising student and contracted
employees; other duties assigned.
Required: Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field with 5-7
years relevant professional experience; proficiency in Excel (Windows).
Preferred: Pursuit of MBA or CPA; experience working in a team
environment; experience in fiscal aspects of extramurally-funded
projects in an academic environment; familiarity with federal and state
(Ohio) regulations pertaining to grants/contracts; experience with SCT
Banner, FileMaker Pro, and SQL; some background in management
information systems and/or information technology. Some evening and/or
weekend hours may be required.
