Our page limit things were 'fatal errors' (worse than warnings?). But as I said, the application was 'reborn' once I fixed the font in one section and reduced that pages.

The second one, however, was exactly 15 pages, but involved human subjects and the separate pdf pages for the human subjects sections appeared to add enough 'white space' to throw it over the page limit. We were able to correct this issue as the pi in question usually uses a 12 point font, and reducing one of the research plan sections to 11 point arial, reduced the page length enough that it cleared without a problem on the corrected submission.
