Tell us if you can get a .doc file through the validation process. Another ?. Originally my PI wanted the attachments in the Research Plan for example, to be in the original MS word format so that the pictures, etc. would appear in color, unlike a .pdf format. That leaves us questing if the reviewers be reviewing electronically hence the color in a MS word format will be viewable, or will they review via standard paper copy and the .pdf format will work with no color? If the reviewers are reviewing electronically, then will the formatting of these attachments hold true? We tested this last question internally, and found that of the 5 computers tested, 2 opened the attachments with the correct formatting, 2 opened it with variations in the formatting, although identical, and one wasn’t able to view the pictures, etc. after the attachments opened. Thoughts?? Thanks! I have uploaded information (biosketches, appendix items, etc) to the SF 424 using PureEdge and saved the form. When close out the form and go back into it, the uploaded items are no longer there. I'm adding the documents as they become available, so the application is not complete at this time. Has anyone else had this problem?
