Logon to eRA Commons, click on “Status” tab, search for award, and check
“Action” column on the right to determine if “Extension” link is available.
This link does not become available until 90 days prior to the project
period end date.
Hope this helps.

We have a faculty member that wants a no-cost extension of her AREA
grant. Her program officer told her to go to Commons and then status to
submit the no-cost extension. We have been to the site both under the
PI's name and my name and cannot see where to go. The help page just
told us we could do it with no instructions. Can someone please help?
Please respond directly to my e-mail address.
