If ever there were a red flag, this is it.  Run, do not walk, to your
nearest legal counsel.  This sounds an awful lot like a PETA-allied
group who is capable of making serious trouble for the
university...especially when you throw in an open forum of what they
think is wrong with your care and use of animals!
