Not everybody did receive Commons verification immediately. NIH was having difficulty, and was still working to receive the proposals Friday evening. Of the eight we submitted, four are still in the netherworld. As long as you have the Grants.gov verification, you are fine. I'd give NIH another day or so to get their system in order. We received our conformation from grants.gov that the proposal was accepted and was being forwarded to the agency. According to NIH guidelines, we should have received an email from them stating that they had received the application and that the PI and the Authorized Representative needed to log in and authorize the submission. We have not received any emails from NIH yet regarding this proposal. Did anyone else submit an application to this solicitation? If so, have you received any notices from NIH about going into the commons system and authorizing the submission? Thanks for your help!
