Re: Boilerplate information on website Ware, Jeanne 18 Mar 2006 08:47 EST

Amy,
As a PUI, I don't need much, but I do keep a short narrative of general and natural science highlights on my web site for faculty to refer to. Typically what I find though is that they will usually just ask me before they go looking for this information.

Subject: [RESADM-L] Boilerplate information on website

Good afternoon-

I've been asked to find out what type of boilerplate information other pre-award grants offices provide on their website. Not just information about the F&A or fringe benefits rates, but info like, "XYZ campus is one of only 12 national sites to offer BLAHBLAH education, and one of only three on the west coast." Info about the campus, demographic info about the community, special programs, etc.

Does anyone post and maintain a central repository of this type of information for faculty use? If so, how often do you (need to) update it?

Thanks,

-Amy
