Keep leaning on the NIH "Help Desk" - maybe there is some other error
that you are not seeing (but they are).

Subject: [RESADM-L] NIH 'Credential Error'

Good Day All.
Please bear with me as I attempt to describe the issue.
We (our PI) keeps receiving a "Missing or Invalid eRA Commons User ID"
message from the NIH side of the application process (G.g AREA
Application). Has anyone else encountered the same problem?
We initially supplied a mixed case 'Credential' & were instructed to use

all upper case for the 'CREDENTIAL'. When that didn't correct the
problem,
a service ticket was generated after speaking with the Help Desk. A
follow
up message received indicated the error was resolved & to resubmit after

correcting the error. We did resubmit yet again & our PI received the
same
message.
Trouble is, we're not aware that an error exists.
Any suggestions?
With much appreciation,
- Jay Samelak
