Diane, Are they making this up as they go along? What about starting the titles with "Collaborative research:" as NSF requires...and each proposal carry the same title. Include details of the collaboration in the narrative. As you mentioned, it's a good idea to send an email to the program officer after submission giving the numbers assigned to each proposal. Then finish with what we all do after a Grants.gov submssion, cross your fingers and pray. Terri Terri M.
