The Geneva Foundation, a non-profit organization dedicated to the
advancement of military medicine, is seeking a Grants & Contracts Manager
for its corporate office in Tacoma, WA. The Grants & Contracts Manager will
oversee and coordinate activities in support of post-award management for
research grants and contracts. Primary responsibilities include: provide
programmatic and financial oversight of active projects; ensure compliance
with governing grant and contract regulations; review and submit all
requests for prior approvals; review budget expenditures and monthly budget
reports; analyze financial spend-down in conjunction with programmatic
progress; initiate and manage subcontract and independent contract
agreements; oversee award closeout; and provide guidance to Principal
Investigators and study team throughout the life of the grant/contract.
Minimum requirement of a BS/BA degree. Experience in grants or contract
field strongly preferred. Must possess demonstrated competence in computer
skills, to include navigating the Internet, MS Word and Excel. Ideal
candidate will be self-directed and able to work independently and use
diplomacy to problem-solve diverse situations. A successful candidate will
possess excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, and be able
to set priorities and manage time effectively. Join a team of highly
