Hi:
If this is NIH format, the separated F&A is not detailed on the
checklist because on the checklist the consortium/contractual F&A
costs become part of the requester's direct costs.  However, the
budget forms (Form Pages 4 and , and the Modular Format) require you
list the Consortium/Contractual F&A as a separate line item.  If the
consortium partner's F&A is not part of the requester's MTDC on the
check list, but is listed separately, the requester could not
accurately calculate their own F&A.

Master-budgeteers...

One of my PI's seems to think that when completing the checklist (non
competing continuation) you must separately list the F&A of the
consortium contract (on the check list). I disagree, the instructions
does not state so as the direct costs of the primary encompasses the
F&A of the consortium contract.

Your input would help.
