Job Description
Provide accounting, financial analysis and compliance support for research and sponsored program grants/contracts/gifts.  Responsibilities include daily review of allowability of expenses, producing monthly invoices, processing monthly effort certifications, and providing proactive financial guidance to program managers.  Additionally, responsibilities include maintenance of assigned grant files, assisting in research and projects surrounding calculation of an indirect cost rate to be used on grants/contracts/gifts, and supporting the annual A-133 audit as well as other periodic audits.  Further, responsibilities include review of proposal budgets.  Additional periodic projects to support financial management of research/sponsored programs/gifts will be assigned.

Minimum qualifications
4 year degree in a business area.
2+ years experience in an accounting capacity.
Moderate spreadsheet skills and an understanding of databases.
Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills.
