institution or investigator staff.

B. Notices of Intent: Not later than May 20, 2005, colleagues may
submit Notices Of Intent (NOI) by email to the Symposium Chair. While
there is no format for NOI's, authors are required to submit a
preliminary title, list of proposed co-authors with their
institutional affiliations, and a brief summary of the proposed paper.
NOI's will be reviewed and accepted by the Chair. Criteria for
preliminary selection will include whether the proposed paper concept
is germane to research administration and consistent with the goals of
the Symposium program. If selected, the Chair will send to the
submitting author the Paper Abstract Template for completion.
Directions for abstracts must be followed strictly including word
limits.

C. Abstract Submissions and Acceptance: Not later than May 31, 2005,
authors approved through the NOI process must submit by email the
completed paper abstract to the Symposium Chair. No abstracts will be
accepted after that time. Completed abstracts will be reviewed by the
Abstracts Review Panel for final acceptance. Criteria for selection
will include relevance to the research administration body of
knowledge, consistency with the goals of the Symposium, adherence to
standards etc. By June 1, 2005, authors will be notified by email of
official acceptance of finalized abstracts. With notification of
acceptance, directions and contacts will be provided for the
preparation of papers.

manuscript preparations. They are encouraged to direct paper-content
questions or general editorial questions to the Contributed Papers

submit their manuscripts directly to the Symposium Chair no later than
