I am interested in seeing what information you get. I have been told by
two program managers that the third try usually gets the money. Please
let me know what you learn.

We're presenting a workshop for our faculty on turning declined
proposals into opportunities (resubmission), and I would like to include
some information on the funding rate of resubmitted proposals for some
federal agencies (NSF, USDA, Dept. of Ed, NEH, etc). I've been poking
around, but I haven't been able to find the funding rate for resubmits.
Does anyone have this data or know where I can find it? It's easy to
say that resubmitted proposals are more likely to be funded, but it
would be more convincing to back up the claim with actual data (as we
always ask PIs to do).
Thanks,
-Amy
