Re: Grants Management Software - PeopleSoft Robert Beattie 09 Feb 2005 16:03 EST

I would like to hear if anyone is actually using the PeopleSoft Grants
system in the proposal preparation mode, in research offices, not in
the Grants Office (GO). Can people (faculty and their staff) use it
for proposal preparing, routing, approving, and printing (or submitting
electronically, by GO, to FastLane or other system)?

Bob

Following the theme of one of today's discussions...

Is anyone using PeopleSoft Grants Management and Financial Management
Modules?

My institution (before I arrived in December 2004) committed to
PeopleSoft
for Financial Management and also Grants Management (Pre- and Post-)
but not
the Human Resource piece.

I need someone to talk to about the integration of the two modules, see
their Grants Management process in working motion and discuss how they
feel
about using the system. I'm also interested in types of reports that
are
generated.

Thanks!

Tom
